If you terminate early
The store is only transferred once the full 24-month EMI schedule is completed. If you choose to end the plan before then, the engagement stops and the store is not transferred to you. Your commercial data — customers, orders and catalogue records — remains yours and is exported to you on exit.
Common questions
What exactly am I paying for each month?
One consolidated EMI that covers your Shopify subscription, the custom store build, ongoing store management, product and inventory operations, payment gateway integration, and every design or feature change during the term.
When does the store become mine?
Ownership transfers permanently after the 24th EMI is paid. We hand over the Shopify account, all assets, source files and integrations in your name.
What happens if I stop paying before 24 months?
The store is not transferred. Until the full 24-month schedule is completed, the store remains under CrissCross Lab ownership, so an early termination ends the engagement without a transfer.
Is there support after the transfer?
Yes. Every completed 24-month plan includes a 6-month maintenance contract after transfer, so your team is supported while taking the store fully in-house.
Are change requests charged separately?
No. Website changes, upgrades, new sections, landing pages and product management are covered by the monthly EMI for the entire 24 months.
Who owns the data during the term?
Your customer, order and catalogue data is yours throughout. The store asset itself transfers to you on completion of the payment schedule.
